Americana Corner
Americana Corner, founded by Tom Hand in 2020, is an online resource to help others rediscover America’s incredible founding and first century of expansion. From the American Revolution to the settlement of the American West, from the Declaration of Independence to the Emancipation Proclamation, and from George Washington to Abraham Lincoln, Americana Corner contains stories of the great events, founding documents, and inspirational leaders who helped create and shape our country. Perhaps most importantly, Tom discusses why these events and people from so long ago still matter to us today.
Preserving America Partner
Americana Corner recognizes the importance of sharing the incredible story of our country’s founding era through its formative first century. To further this mission, Americana Corner created the Preserving America Partners program, a philanthropic initiative aimed at supporting large-scale, multi-year endeavors that create new or enhance existing programming at historical sites focused on the period from 1607 to 1876. By fostering collaborative partnerships through the Preserving America Partners program, Americana Corner aims to reinforce the legacy of our nation's past while inspiring future generations to engage with history in meaningful ways.
