The Preserving America Network offers ongoing opportunities to learn, connect, and strengthen your organization. Open to all Preserving America Grant recipients, Partners, and Conference attendees — past and present — the Network provides continued support through individual strategy meetings, small group professional development sessions, and a Facebook community that keeps you connected throughout the year.
We look forward to helping you turn ideas into action, build lasting relationships, and advance your organization’s goals.
Strategy Meetings
Meet virtually with your assigned advisor to review your Conference commitments and action plan, discuss progress, and work through obstacles. These conversations will help you prioritize your top three goals, establish achievable benchmarks, and identify the support you need to keep moving forward.

Small Group Learning and Peer Exchange
Join three virtual webinars each year with fellow Network members. Each session will offer practical guidance on development, programming, or marketing, along with time to exchange ideas, celebrate small victories, and learn from one another’s experiences. Topics may include low-cost fundraising, volunteer recruitment, event promotion, community partnerships, social media, and board engagement.

Online Community
Connect throughout the year with fellow Network members in the Facebook group. Ask questions, share resources and recommendations, find grant opportunities, showcase your work, and explore partnerships. Members can exchange tools such as strategic plans and event checklists, highlight campaigns and programs, and explore opportunities to collaborate on speakers, exhibits, events, and living history programs.

Annual Progress Survey
Help shape future support. As part of the Network, you will be invited to complete an annual progress survey to share your organization’s progress, which ideas and resources have made the greatest impact, what you hope to accomplish next, and how we can continue to support your work.
